Happy Mother’s Day to my Son

What a lovely Mother’s Day I had today!  Flowers and chocolates from my daughter and her family, and cards and loving phone calls, and a husband-made dinner of steak and lobster tails and all the trimmings. And many memories of my own Mom, too.  How blessed I am!

Still, many of my thoughts have been focused on my son.  That’s because he was born on Mother’s Day.  So every six years he celebrates the day with me.  He has given me such pride and joy in my life.

Thank you, Eric.  And Happy Birthday!

A surprise visit from one of my sons made my mother’s day extra special. So happy you had a wonderful day as well (yummy steak and lobster too).
Warm hugs to you and Dan

B.J., what a special surprise! Double special if he came from a long way away. Triple special if you haven’t seen him for awhile!
      So happy for you.

  2. Oh, yes, Sheila and I do that same dance every few years since she’s May 10th.
